Raleigh, NC
Client North Carolina State University
This existing 12,000 sq. ft. main meeting room on North Carolina State University’s campus was re-imagined with a pattern of acoustical wall panels, upgraded 28’-tall operable partitions, and new entry treatments. The design was tailored to allow for an aggressive five-week construction period.
Emphasis was given to assigning a visual hierarchy to the main stage with the new finishes. Two large HVAC return louvers were relocated from behind the stage; a special curtain was employed to allow airflow through the fabric, while not allowing visual perception of the “back-of-house” area beyond.
Each project listed above exemplifies one or more of the learning, wellness, and recreational qualities that are the focus of our designed spaces.
