Rand-Bryan House Renovation Recognized by Capital Area Preservation

The Rand-Bryan House was selected for the Capital Area Preservation’s 2010 Anthemion Award for the Commercial Rehabilitation and Adaptive Reuse.

The renovation of this 140-year-old home in Garner, NC was designed and led by HH Architecture. Capital Area Preservation is a non-profit organization with the mission of protecting historic resources in Wake County.

HH Architecture shares this award with collaborators The Renovation Specialists and the Rand-Bryan House, LLC.

The Anthemion Award is an annual event to recognize and encourage outstanding historic preservation efforts in Wake County. The planning and design of the Rand-Bryan House renovation took over five years and included floor plan extensions, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, and a new turning lane on Highway 50.
