“HH Architecture Exec Earns LEED Accreditation”

RALEIGH, N.C. - HH Architecture, a full service design firm based in Raleigh, NC, announced today Alicia Kirwan, AIA, has earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

This credential recognizes professionals with extensive knowledge of LEED standards for design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. HH Architecture has made LEED certification a priority for its staff.

Ms. Kirwan is Senior Architect at HH Architecture, and has been with the firm since April 2007. She has worked on several green or LEED projects to date, including the Mamie Jenkins Building renovation at East Carolina University (LEED Silver goal) and Hope Crest in Raleigh, a low-income housing development backed by a grant from Advanced Energy. Ms. Kirwan received her Master of Architecture degree from NC State University in 1995. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Preservation North Carolina, and the US Green Building Council.
